Terms and Conditions

About your Estimate: We use GPS mapping for many of our estimates in order to get accurate pricing. However this sometimes does not show us any obstacles etc. that may be on your property. Please note when we show up for service there may be additional charges if we are not made aware of certain factors that may prevent us from completing the job.

For lawn care: agreement starts April 1st and ends October 31st of each calendar year. Property may need cutting before/after the agreement date depending on growth rate. Services performed weekly; one day per week, price listed is per scheduled visit. Contractor shall maintain appropriate insurance coverage throughout the duration of this agreement. Contractor shall not be responsible for any of the following: damage to vegetation/lawn due to improper irrigation; damage to vegetation, soft or hard surfaces from equipment used; damage to cables/lines/pipes, underground or exposed; or exposed objects normally found below the lawns surface. Edging of excessively overgrown grass will be an additional one time charge upon Clients request. If inclement weather prohibits Contractor from safely and/or properly performing scheduled services at property, the schedule will be adjusted as needed. You will receive confirmation email prior to commencement of services for following season and be notified of any price changes. Agreement may be cancelled by either party; for any reason, upon notification.

Weekly Mowing – Weekly mowing starts at the end of April/first week of may weather permitting. If no spring cleanup was done, the lawn needs to be in a ‘mowable state’. Meaning there are no sticks/leaves. There is a 4 week minimum for weekly mowing. If within the first four weeks service is cancelled the client will be billed the difference. For example if the price per cut is $50 and after 2 cuts service is cancelled an additional $100 will be charged to the client at time of cancelling.

If any need to be cleaned up prior to the first mow, you will be charged a $250 minimum with an hourly rate of $80 should it surpass the time given in the $250. Disposal charges may apply.

If on the first mow the lawn is more than 4″ high, The first mowing will be charged 2-3 times the regular mow price based off how much additional time and material is removed.

Should skips be needed, we charge $25 and must be informed no less than 24 hour ahead of time. Monday mow clients must notify us by the previous Friday. Requests to skip after the given time frame, or on arrival, will be charged the full amount.

Mowing day: We can not put everyone on a Friday schedule unfortunately. In order to keep our pricing competitive we make our routes in a specific way. Mowing days can not be changed. If you are having an event on a weekend and you are on an early day schedule, we can normally make a one time exception and re-visit your lawn towards the end of the week. You will be charged an additional visit for this week.

Spring and Fall cleanups: Cleanups are charged on an hourly rate. The estimate above gives you a high/low range based on the size of your property where we think the pricing will fall. Spring cleanups may require an additional disposal fee. Fall cleanups may require an additional leaf vacuum fee if necessary of $1-200 on average. Pricing for fall cleanups in the above estimate is per visit.

Bark Mulching: Mulching is based off of a time/material rate. The price you see here is an estimate, we do our best to give an affordable estimate that’s close to the time it will take us. If by chance we go over time allotted in the estimate due to extra work, an abundance of weeds, unexpected circumstances, etc, the price may fluctuate according to the time spent.

Fertilizing: Prices are given on a standard program of 7 visits. If there are an abundance of weeds needing an additional spray of weed control, an additional application will be charged. This would typically only be on the first visit of a new program.

Aeration: Core aeration is a mechanical process. Irrigation repair is not included in Aeration pricing. We typically aerate 1-3″ and we ask that you flag your sprinkler heads ahead of time to avoid damage.

Contractor shall not be responsible for any of the following: damage to vegetation/lawn due to improper irrigation; damage to vegetation, soft or hard surfaces from equipment used; damage to cables/lines/pipes, underground or exposed; or objects normally found below the lawns surface/grade. If inclement weather prohibits Contractor from safely and/or properly performing scheduled services at property, the schedule will be adjusted as needed and Client will be notified. Agreement may be cancelled by either party; for any reason, upon notification.
